IF YOU THREATEN ME AGAIN, I WILL GET YOU ARRESTED-WONTUMI WARNS KENNEDY AGYAPONG.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Wontumi has warned Kennedy Agyapong, the incoming flagbearer of NPP that he will get him arrested if he dares threaten him again.

In a press conference, he made it known that he has never insulted Kennedy Agyapong or any other person, neither will he allow anyone to come on air on any of his radio stations or TV stations to insult Kennedy Agyapong and due to that, he do not understand why Kennedy was throwing insults or attacking him.

He also made it a point that he take only legal actions against the incoming flagbearer if he attacks him again.

“I am advising you not to threaten me again, because if you do, I will get you arrested, you threaten Ahmed Suale and he is no more”, Wontumi said.
Chairman Wontumi added that Kennedy Agyapong could have come closer to him as a senior brother when he was in the Ashanti region for his showdown campaign to discuss any issue he had with him. But instead he chose to attack prominent people and delegates within the NPP party.

“you should have taken the advantage to speak to me and get me on your side when you came for your campaign, but you rather attacked Regional Minister, Education Minister, Majority leader, Bawumia and me", said Wontumi.

He made it clear that he is not campaigning for Kennedy Agyapong's defeat in the incoming elections, but Kennedy must apologize to all the party members and polling station members he has disrespected and that might help him gain their support and interest.
